Session 1: Explicit Analysis with OptiStruct Nonlinear

Tues 25th August - 14:00 pm (BST)

OptiStruct-NL-drop

Thousands of designs have been analysed and optimised using Altair’s industry-leading structural solver over the last 25 years. In its latest version, OptiStruct is bringing a new explicit solution focused on drop testing simulation and impact type subcases allowing users to perform multidisciplinary studies using a single model and a single run submission.

This webinar will give you a brief overview of the non-linear capabilities of OptiStruct and introduce in detail the new explicit solution sequence. If you are currently using HyperWorks, you already have access to OptiStruct Nonlinear; join us and see how it could help you save on your solver spend.

Attend and Learn:

  • Overview of nonlinear capabilities
  • Introduction of new explicit solution (beta release)
  • See how OptiStruct Nonlinear can help reduce your software spend

Session 2: Efficient Post-Processing with HyperMesh and HyperView

Weds 26th August - 14:00 pm (BST)

HyperView-wing-model-new

Every CAE analyst wants to minimise time spent post-processing their simulation results and provide feedback to the designers as soon as possible. With version 2020, Altair is helping users reduce this time even further.

During the webinar you will learn about the new, faster data loading engine in HyperView 2020 and its automated reporting tool which can generate PowerPoint or Word based reports in matter of seconds. Furthermore, you will see how you can extract FEA results into spreadsheets in few clicks directly inside HyperMesh 2020.

Attend and Learn:

  • Automated reporting in HyperView 2020
  • Results extraction in HyperMesh 2020

Session 3: Rapid Structural Analysis with SimSolid & Inspire

Thurs 27th August - 14:00 pm (BST)

Inspire-SimSolid

For many years, Altair Inspire has been the tool of choice for designers who need to perform quick FE or MBD analysis and optimisation study. Combining the power of Altair’s HyperMesh, OptiStruct, MotionSolve and SimLab, Inspire manages to deliver accurate answers quickly and with minimal user effort. Version 2020 sets the bar even higher by integrating the Altair SimSolid solver and taking the solution time down to seconds.

Attendees of the webinar will see the solver live in action as well as more exciting new features (Toolbelt, PolyMesh, enhanced PolyNURBS etc.)

Attend and Learn:

  • New features in Inspire 2020
  • Rapid design validations using SimSolid solver
