Join us for the "Altair Tech Solutions" workshop on March 30th from 12-2 pm at the Polytechnical University of Bucharest, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics building, ground floor, room CD001. Hosted by SiMART 3D, this two-hour event will feature insights into Altair solutions, a presentation by Tecosim, and information about internship programs for students. During the workshop, Tecosim, one of Europe's leading engineering service providers, will showcase their usage of Altair solutions on real-life projects. They will also discuss their internship program for students seeking a career in engineering, providing a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience. In addition, SiMART 3D, the official channel partner of Altair in Romania, will be introduced. As an authorized training, support, and consultancy service provider, they will share insights into Altair solutions and their application to engineering problems.
Currently, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics trains students in five areas, namely Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Applied Engineering Sciences, and Industrial Engineering.
In addition, the Mechanical Engineering field is split, starting from the third year of study, into the following specializations: Thermal Systems and Equipment; Hydraulic and Pneumatic Machines and Systems; Industrial Process Equipment; Fine Mechanics and Nanotechnologies. The field of Mechatronics and Robotics brings a great plus in the design, development, modeling, command, and control of mechatronic systems, the best example of a mechatronic system being the robot in factory or mobile system variants.

In addition, students are eligible to use Altair's solutions for free through the Altair Academic Program, which provides access to a range of engineering software for educational purposes.
