Ensuring accuracy of results in CFD requires the engineer to correctly set up the boundary conditions between solid wall and fluid. Legacy CFD codes based on Finite Volume Methods (FVM) do not lend themselves to define the boundary conditions properly. AcuSolve is a sophisticated Finite element Method (FEM) based CFD code that solves this challenge appropriately.

This seminar will introduce and demonstrate important differences between FVM and FEM, and show the advantages of the Altair AcuSolve CFD solution through practical use cases related to the vibration, noise, heat  related simulations  in design of automotive and industrial electronics .

Altair has wide spectrum of CFD solution suite to address variety of  CFD simulations - AcuSolve, ultraFLuidX, nanoFLuidX and RADIOSS SPH apart from ElectroFLo and Flow simulator  solutions.
