Altair invites engineering students to participate in the Antenna Design Contest using Altair® Feko®, the leading simulation software for antenna design. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your antenna design skills, visibility to your profile hence career opportunities and deepen your knowledge of simulation tools used in real-world engineering applications.

Feko addresses the broadest set of high-frequency electromagnetic simulation applications allowing teams to optimize wireless connectivity, including 5G, ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and perform radar cross section (RCS) and scattering analysis. From antenna simulation and placement, radio coverage, network planning, and spectrum management, to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI), Radome modeling, bio-electromagnetics and RF devices, Feko combines with other Altair tools to optimize system performance through machine learning and reduce modeling time for complex systems.

Antenna Design Contest using Altair FEKO | Altair Academic Initiatives

How to Participate:

1. Register for the contest: Once you register for the contest you will receive further details about the contest, on your registered email address

2. Create your Altair One account; obtain your FEKO License Key, download and install FEKO

3. Learn FEKO and work on "Antenna Design" problem statement based on your interest (Its an open book contest - you decide the Antenna design problem statement). Start designing your antenna using the FEKO simulation tool

4. Submit your design and results report within contest deadline on or before February 28, 2025
