Dr.-Ing. Axel Hänschke
Spotlight on Our Steering Committee: Axel Haenschke – A Pioneer in Virtual Vehicle Development

We are delighted to introduce you today to an outstanding member of our OpenRadioss Steering Committee: Dr. Axel Haenschke. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry and research, Axel is a driving force in the world of CAE simulation and virtual product development. His career first led him to VW Gedas, where he spent five years as a manager for CAE projects. Axel spent the majority of his impressive career at Ford Werke GmbH in Cologne, where he held various management positions for over 25 years. As Manager Analytical Prototypes, he led CAE integration and CAE model building, thus being responsible for all "virtual prototypes".

Axel's current focus is on the development of the ReBar Element, which plays a central role in the simulation and development of tire models.
