Altair Solution for simulations with Heterogenous materials

Short fiber composite materials like PA66-30GF exhibit a very different structural behavior compared to isotropic materials. While undertaking structural simulation, because of the complexity involved in getting the right material data for heterogeneous materials they are often idealized as isotropic materials. The results therefore are conservative, and often wrong.

Altair provides a complete workflow to characterize these heterogeneous materials and use them in the structural simulation. This webinar highlights an entire workflow spanning manufacturing simulation and evaluating a structure for strength and stiffness.
