Date: October 7, 2014

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am EDT (UTC - 4 hours)

Instructor: Vijay Ambarisa, Senior Project Engineer at ANSOL

Coustyx is a state-of-the-art acoustic simulation software built on
powerful Fast Multipole Method (FMM) and Boundary Element Method (BEM)
technologies. The low-memory foot print of FMM-BEM along with fast
iterative solvers allow Coustyx to solve very large scale real-life
acoustic problems fast. Accurate solutions are obtained for a wide
frequency range (low-mid-high).

This webinar will focus on the use of Coustyx for NVH
analysis. Example applications include gear box noise radiation, sound
scattered by objects, interior sound fields, muffler transmission loss
predictions, sound transmission through vibro-acoustic coupling and
more. Multiple case studies will be introduced including validations
with analytical or experimental results.

Who should attend: CAE/NVH Engineers and Managers
