Accelerate Commercial Vehicle Design with Faster, Smarter Simulation

Explore and Finalize Designs Faster Than Ever Before!

* Webinar recording is available under the link below *

In today’s fast-paced commercial vehicle and heavy equipment industry, accelerating development and achieving design maturity quickly is crucial. Fast assessment of CAD variants is key to this process.

With Altair, you can make faster, more informed decisions early in development and speed up variant assessments. Altair’s solutions handle large, complex assemblies and validate them without geometry simplification.

Quicker and better decisions and accelerated variant assessment

Watch this webinar to:

  • Hear real-world success stories from industry leaders like Iveco, Don-Bur, and Suspensys, who have significantly increased their throughput with Altair’s solutions.
  • Learn how Altair’s solutions are integrated into the curriculum at the University of applied Sciences HTWD to support structural verification in the daily work of design engineers.
  • Experience a live demo showcasing how Altair enables rapid, accurate analysis of complex designs to drastically reduce modeling time and deliver results in minutes.
  • Discover how to eliminate wait times and backlogs between design and simulation teams, seamlessly simulate and assess entire CAD assemblies, and gain immediate insights into design changes with minimal pre-processing.
  • Learn how to make better design decisions faster, all with minimal training investment.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Wittmer

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Vehicle Construction / Commercial Vehicle TechnologyDresden University of Applied Sciences

Dresden University of Applied Sciences

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Wittmer holds a chair in vehicle design and commercial vehicle technology. The focus of his work is a seminar on commercial vehicle design. Here, both the entire vehicle and central components (axles, frames, etc.) are examined from a design perspective. He has been using Altair Simsolid for several years to train future vehicle developers and designers, as well as engineers at commercial vehicle suppliers and vehicle body builders, to facilitate structural verification in the daily work of the designers.
